Following the lead of teammate Kirk Morrison, Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew is entering the world of sports talk radio.

The Pro Bowler has signed on to host a weekly talk show on SiriusXM’s 24-hour NFL talk channel.

Jones-Drew will work alongside co-host Bryan McGovern on Late Hits with MJD starting tonight (8:00-10:00 pm ET) and every Tuesday.

“Pocket Hercules” will take calls from listeners around the country, interview personalities from around the league, and discuss current NFL affairs, including the work stoppage, the NFL Draft, the Jaguars offseason, and many other topics.

“My SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio show has been such a successful way for me to interact with the fans that I felt doing another show on Sirius NFL Radio is the best avenue for me to discuss a range of current NFL issues,” said Jones-Drew. “On the show we’ll discuss the work stoppage and its effect on the games, talk to players to find out how they are spending their time away from the game, and give fans a place to talk about the NFL Draft and what their teams need to do to prepare for the next season.”
