Mike Huckabee to Make Campaign Announcement on Fox News

Mike Huckabee, who stepped down from his Fox News Channel show, “Huckabee,” in January, is expected to return to Fox this evening to make his 2016 presidential campaign official. Huckabee said Friday he is “moving toward” announcing a second bid for the White House.

Huckabee told reporters in Washington this morning he would make a little news on “Special Report with Bret Baier,” which airs on FNC at 6 p.m. ET. Huckabee’s senior communications adviser tweeted:

Huckabee’s interview with Baier is part of the show’s “The Presidential Contenders: 2016” series, which features interviews with two dozen potential 2016 candidates. Part of that interview airs tonight, with Huckabee’s full interview set to air Monday.
