Mike Huckabee to announce on Fox News his presidential decision

Mike Huckabee will announce on his Fox News show tomorrow night whether he plans to explore a run for the Republican nomination for president, Politico reports.

“Huckabee” executive producer Woody Fraser says, “Governor Huckabee will announce tomorrow night on his program whether or not he intends to explore a presidential bid. He has not told anyone at FOX News Channel his decision.”

Fox News has been anxious to hear Huckabee’s plans as it will determine his future with the network. Fox News has already terminated the contracts of two contributors who have announced their intention to run: Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum.

Huckabee is more unique, however, in that he hosts a weekly show on Fox News. The hour is taped ahead of time, and that will be the case tomorrow night as well. But we’re told Huckabee will return toward the end of that 8pmET hour to announce his decision live.

If he does jump in the race, he may not be able to jam with the likes of Lynard Skynard (pictured).
