Screen Shot 2015-06-11 at 12.28.19 PMIn an interview with The New York Times, Michael Wolff has a suggestion for NBC News on approaching the big question of whether Brian Williams should return to the anchor desk or not. “I would do what Roger Ailes would do.”

The columnist suggests that the Fox News boss would never sit back and watch which way the winds of the media world are blowing. He’d trust his gut. “Through Roger’s eyes, the issue is: What does my audience want? So, why should I have to run my business on the basis of what media people say I should do—people who don’t want me to succeed?”

Asked if ‘What Would Roger Do’ applies to others, like Hillary Clinton, Wolff said it does. “I think we would all be well served to follow that credo. That’s what we should be thinking: What’s good for my own business?”
