Megyn Kelly’s Today Show Hour Has a Launch Date

By Chris Ariens

Megyn Kelly‘s 9 a.m. hour of NBC’s Today show will launch Monday, Sept. 25.

As had been speculated, the new hour will include a live studio audience, Politico reports, giving it more a feeling of a talk show than a news show.

This means the show will originate from the Comcast building, which has studios that can accommodate an audience, rather than from Studio 1A, the longtime street-side studio home of the Today show.

Jackie Levin will ep the show while Chris Cataldi has been named co-ep.

Kelly transitions to the mornings as her newsmagazine Sunday Night ends its summer run next month when Sunday Night Football returns to the NBC schedule.
