While interviewing conservative filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza last night, Megyn Kelly couldn’t stop laughing in response to a comparison her guest made.
“So America is the child molester in this scenario,” Kelly said while laughing. “I’m just trying to follow Dinesh…I think we may have jumped off the deep end.”
D’Souza had compared still loving one’s serial killer father while simultaneously trying to stop him from doing evil to President Obama thinking he’s doing the world and America a favor by “controlling this rogue elephant that is the United States.”
Earlier in the night, Erin Burnett pushed back against a guest in a slightly more serious tone. Speaking with former American Envoy to Iraq Paul Bremer, Burnett asked him about his credibility on the Iraq issue. “A lot of people are watching you right now and they’re hearing you give your ideas of what to do. And they’re saying, ‘but aren’t you the guy who got us in this mess?'”
