NBC’s Meet the press was the most-watched Sunday morning public affairs program last week, winning in both Total Viewers and the A25-54 demo.
In the demo, NBC had a 1.1, followed by CBS in 2nd, ABC in 3rd and FOX in 4th. In the Washington, D.C. market, NBC was #1, followed by CBS, FOX and ABC. The strong ratings for George Stephanopoulos’ interview with President Barack Obama gave This Week its best January in seven years.
The David Gregory-moderated MTP averaged 4,186,000 viewers, CBS’ Face the Nation had 3,337,000, ABC’s This Week had 3,257,000 and FOX News Sunday had 1,495,000.
