President Obama will be in the Rose Garden at 10:30amET this morning to outline his multi-trillion dollar deficit reduction plan which calls for new taxes and spending cuts. After the Rose Garden appearance the White House will debrief the media on specifics. And according to Playbook, the White House is already warning it’s going to be a lot of detail.
“After the President speaks, we’re going to do another briefing that will give much more details, and the set of information that you will get will be at a level of detail that you may end up regretting asking for previously.”
The cable news nets will all be carrying the president’s remarks.
