Nicole Maxwell has been named Director of Development, West Coast, for NBC’s Peacock Productions. The announcement was made by Sharon Scott, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Peacock Productions. Maxwell will be responsible for the creation and development of multiplatform, nonfiction series programming and content. She will report to Benjamin Ringe, Vice President of Development and Co-Executive Producer, Peacock Productions.

“We are thrilled to have Nicole join our team during this time of expansion,” said Scott. “Her extensive knowledge of series development, casting and production for multi-media platforms make her a valuable addition as we make our presence stronger on the west coast.”

Previously, Maxwell was Director of Development at Banyan Productions where she oversaw all creation and development of TV and multi-media projects. While there, she developed the hit primetime docudrama series, “Deliver Me,” on Discovery Health. In addition, she was a producer on the Emmy awarding-winning series “True Life,” (MTV) and “The Daily Show,” (Comedy Central), as well as a producer for Sundance Channel, A & E and Travel Channel.
