With the Chris Christie bridge scandal still simmering, two MSNBC shows –“Hardball with Chris Matthews” and “The Rachel Maddow Show” — placed first in A25-54 viewers for the week of February 3.

Matthews’ 7pmET program averaged 285,000 viewers in the demo, narrowly edging out “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren,” which had 282,000 A25-54 viewers. It was the first weekly demo win for MSNBC at 7 p.m. since September 3, 2012, the week of the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte.

Maddow’s show delivered 341,000 viewers in the demo, while Megyn Kelly’s 9pmET Fox News show averaged 335,000 A25-54 viewers. Martha MacCallum subbed for Kelly on Wednesday and Friday’s “Kelly File” was a special. This marks the second week this year that Maddow has delivered a weekly demo win at 9pmET.

Despite the A25-54 wins, Fox News was still far out front of MSNBC in total viewers. We’ll post the full scoreboard shortly.
