Matt Lauer: ‘When I Cut My Hair Off … It Was Freeing’

In a Today Show segment with Alicia Keys Friday, co-host Matt Lauer talked about his decision to shave his head, describing it as “freeing.”

“When I cut my hair off, I never had to worry about covering the bald spot anymore,” Lauer said.

Keys, who wrote a letter in May explaining her decision to go without makeup, said “We put so many limitations on ourselves…I’m over it.”
