“Every morning at this time I’ll be bringing you the latest word on your money straight from the decision makers on wall street, in the C suite and Washington” Bartiromo began.

Bartiromo left CNBC in November and officialy joined FBN last month. She remained off the air for 60 days, a result of a clause in her CNBC contract.

“As someone who likes to work nonstop. I was following the news, figuring out the stories, thinking how I’d be covering them,” Bartiromo tells the NY Daily News. She tells USA Today what she hopes “Opening Bell” will accomplish: “For a long time, business TV was about the stock market. I want to get away from too much short-term-ism.”
