Many CNBC Bureaus To Merge With O&O’s

NBC News execs are “looking at ways the existing domestic bureaus — network and cable — can be merged with local stations to bring efficiencies,” Variety also notes. (Dallas is a good example.)

Example: “CNBC has its own bureaus, many of which will be merged with local NBC-owned stations. CNBC’s Silicon Valley bureau likely will be merged with KNTV in San Jose, while CNBC’s Chicago bureau likely will move in with WMAQ; its D.C. bureau with WRC.”
