Back in May TVNewser reported that a former Disney employee named Bonnie Hoxie and her boyfriend Yonni Sebbag (not pictured at right) were charged with trying to sell inside information about Disney’s financials to interested parties. Among the supposed revelations was that Disney was in “advanced talks” to sell ABC.
That of course turned out not to be the case. But while some of the information may have been incorrect, they were still peddling data meant to be private. Now Sebbag has pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud.
According to authorities, Hoxie obtained the information and gave it to Sebbag, who tried to sell it to at least 33 different companies.
