Longhorn Network To Exclusively Air Two UT Football Games In 2011

By Marcus Vanderberg

The Longhorn Network will exclusively air two University of Texas football games during the 2011 season.

The first game is the season opener with Rice from Darrell K Royal – Texas Memorial Stadium on Sept. 3 at 6 p.m. CT. The second game will be determined later in the season but it will be a Big 12 conference game.

“We are thrilled to be able to bring not one but two games to Longhorn fans this year,” said Stephanie Druley, Longhorn Network vice president, production. “The Texas-Rice game will be an exciting first for the network and demonstrate how we will provide the most comprehensive coverage of Texas football that fans have ever experienced.”
