Lindsay Lohan Sues Fox News, Sean Hannity

By Brian Flood

Notorious publicity hound Lindsay Lohan is now targeting Fox News Channel.

Lohan and her mother, Dina, have sued FNC and host Sean Hannity, saying they were smeared last February when correspondent Michelle Fields claimed the mother/daughter duo do cocaine together. Lohan initially demanded an on-air apology and Fox News obliged.

TVNewser has obtained nearly year-old documents sent from FNC’s legal team to the Lohan camp, stating the video was removed from its website and that an on-air apology was issued. Both letters can be seen below.

This all started last year on “Hannity” when panel was discussing the death of Philip Seymour Hoffman. The conversation turned into a debate about the next celeb who will die. Fields chimed in by saying, “Lindsay Lohan’s mom is doing cocaine with her.” The Lohans call the comment “malicious innuendo” and “a direct smear on the character/reputation of Lindsay and Dina.”

Andrea Tantaros issued an apology back on Feb. 21, 2014 when guest hosting “Hannity.”

A Fox News spokesperson has issued the following statement: “Our legal team has not reviewed this yet so we can not comment.”
