Stouffer’s last day with the network was yesterday. She had been with Headline News since 1997. Stouffer is married to CBS News reporter Mark Strassman.

Dornin has been with CNN since 1991. She was most recently based in Atlanta but had been in the San Francisco bureau for many years. She’s covered stories ranging from the California governor’s recall to the murder of Laci Peterson.

Since Friday, TVNewser has reported four other correspondents leaving the network, including Jamie McIntyre and Kelli Arena. The email Arena sent to her colleagues is after the jump…

To all my CNN friends and colleagues,

While it feels like only a short time ago, I first walked through the doors of the World Trade Center in NYC as a CNN intern in 1984 and never looked back.

Having spent more than half of my life at the network, it’s hard to believe some of you weren’t even born then! I will miss so many of you .

Each of you has taught me so much; my mentors, and those I’ve mentored.

If I’ve learned anything over the years, it’s not to try to name everyone, because I will undoubtedly forget to thank someone. So, I will simply thank you all.

Please do take care of my precious Kevin, Carol and Terry; they are as loyal and smart as they come and I don’t know what I will do without them. Roger, this is one script I won’t be reading again from the top!

Happy and healthy 2009 to everyone, and may our paths cross again in the future.

Much love and appreciation.

Kelli Arena
