NBC’s Lester Holt — just call him iron pants — will get a break after anchoring 14 days straight on Weekend “Today,” “Nightly News” and “Dateline.”
This weekend Craig Melvin will fill in on Weekend “Today” both Saturday and Sunday, while Peter Alexander will anchor Saturday’s “Nightly News,” and Carl Quintanilla will anchor Sunday’s “Nightly News.”
No official substitute plans have been determined as Holt fills in for Brian Williams, who began a 6-month unpaid suspension from the network on Feb. 10.
