An emotional Lawrence O’Donnell called his exclusive interview with Jordan Davis’ parents last night a tough feat for him.
“I find it next to impossible to talk to them about it,” O’Donnell said in a web exclusive after the show.
“It’s easier for me to talk about it if they’re not here,” he added, highlighting how tough the presence of the murdered teenager’s parents makes an interview (O’Donnell himself has a daughter).

“I’m just not professional enough at this to do that well,” O’Donnell added. “It was difficult to get through it.”
