In addition to interviewing Gretchen Carlson for tonight’s 20/20, Elizabeth Vargas also speaks with Laurie Luhn, who worked for Roger Ailes for more than 20 years, both before and during his time at Fox News Channel.
Luhn first told her story in 11 hours of interviews to New York magazine’s Gabe Sherman in July.
“I finally felt safe when I heard that other women were speaking up,” Luhn tells Vargas. She also recounts the kinds of harassment she was subjected to. When Sherman’s story first broke, Ailes attorney Susan Estrich responded: “Roger denied these allegations in 2011 and he denies them now. He wishes Ms. Luhn well.”
