Larry Kudlow Hints at Senate Run Over Iran

By Mark Joyella

CNBC contributor Larry Kudlow says he’s considering a Senate run over Iran. “If Sen. Richard Blumenthal votes with Obama on Iran, I’m going to run against him,” Kudlow said on his weekend radio show, reports The Hill:

“I’m not a political guy — I’m an economist, I’m a broadcaster by profession — but I’m so angry at this issue, among others,” he added. “We’re talking about world security, national security — they’re coming to get us and Iran will finance them.”

“I may lose,” Kudlow acknowledged. “It’s a long-shot. I’m not a politician.

“I’ll take on Blumenthal if I have to.”

Kudlow’s long-running Kudlow Report ended its CNBC run in 2014.
