Larry King Confirms Radio Rumors… Plus a New TV Show?

By Alex Weprin

Talkers magazine speaks to Larry King, where the longtime host of “Larry King Live,” reveals that he is very close to a new LA-based radio show (as long rumored) as well as a new TV program:

King states that in addition to the four TV specials over three years that he has contracted to do for CNN, he is on the verge of announcing (within several days or weeks) his return to doing an LA-based national radio show and the launch of yet another television project.  He says that he was comfortable with “Larry King Live” coming to an end this past December stating he knows “it was time” but he does miss having the opportunity to cover the big news stories that break on a daily basis such as the killing of Osama bin Laden.

What could the new TV project be? King has long had his heart set on a program for MLB Network. Could an off-season interview program be in the works?
