Lakers Shake Up Broadcast Teams For 2011-12 Season

By Marcus Vanderberg

The Los Angeles Lakers are shaking up their broadcast teams for the 2011-12 NBA season.

Gone are Joel Meyers (television) and Spero Dedes (radio) and in are Bill Macdonald (television) and John Ireland (radio).

Macdonald will call all televised Lakers games on Fox Sports West and KCAL 9 with color commentator Stu Lantz.

Ireland, a radio host and sideline reporter on KCAL 9, will call games on 710 AM ESPN Radio with Mychal Thompson.

These series of changes won’t go over well with Laker fans – – trust me.
