Katie Couric visited her former show this morning to promote an upcoming “Stand Up To Cancer” telecast and share details from her recent wedding.
“For someone who’s generally fairly hyper, I was incredibly relaxed,” Couric told Savannah Guthrie about her wedding. “It was very small, very intimate…I hate to be shallow, but the weather was perfect.”
“I’m 57 years old; I didn’t want to be in some big confection, kind of floating down an aisle,” she said about her dress. “I picked it like five days before the wedding.”

And the former “Today” host was glad the big day wasn’t crashed—by former co-host Matt Lauer and radio host Howard Stern.
