Katie Couric is now Mrs. John Molner, as she proudly tweeted last night. Couric, global news anchor for Yahoo! News, married Molner at her East Hampton home Saturday during a ceremony attended by about 50 family and close friends. Couric and Molner dated for about two years and were engaged in September. John Ellis, a friend of the couple, officiated. According to People:

The bride wore an ivory beaded and embroidered Chantilly lace halter gown by Carmen Marc Valvo that she’d finally decided on just one week before the wedding.

Ms. Couric, who is 57, will keep her name. Her first husband, for whom the Jay Monahan Center for Gastrointestinal Health at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is named, died in 1998 after battling colon cancer. Mr. Molner, 51, is a partner in Brown Brothers Harriman, the investment banking company in New York, where he oversees mergers and acquisitions. He graduated from Trinity College in Hartford and received an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. The groom’s previous marriage ended in divorce.
