Among the attendees at Regis Philbin’s final “Live!” taping was his former co-host Kathie Lee Gifford. Gifford currently co-hosts the fourth hour of NBC’s “Today,” which starts promptly at 10 AM, right after “Live!” As a result, the fourth hour started this morning with a mad dash by Gifford from Disney’s Upper West Side headquarters to NBC’s 30 Rock studios. Things didn’t go exactly as planned, but Hoda Kotb had a glass of wine at the ready:
