CNN Worldwide president Jeff Zucker made headlines today, knocking other morning shows to The Hollywood Reporter while praising New Day. Unfortunately for Zucker, he picked the wrong day to make those comments… at least from a ratings standpoint.
New Day fell to fourth in the key A25-54 demo on Tuesday, averaging 70,000 viewers. CNN even lost to its sister network, as HLN’s Morning Meade With Robin Meade beat New Day. The CNN morning show also lost to FNC’s Fox & Friends and MSNBC’s Morning Joe in total viewers.
