Julian Assange Talk Show ‘The World Tomorrow’ To Debut Next Week

By Alex Weprin

As we noted in January, Wikileaks founder Julian Assange has been working on his own talk show that will air cable channel RT (formerly Russia Today). Well, Wikileaks has announced that the program, now called “The World Tomorrow,” will debut on Tuesday, April 17.

The show will air on RT, and will also be available online. So far 12 episodes have been shot, with more to come. No word on who any of the guests are, but Wikileaks says it will feature “an eclectic range of guests, who are stamping their mark on the future: politicians, revolutionaries, intellectuals, artists and visionaries.”

The organization says the first guest is “notorious” and “controversial. Who will it be? We will find out next Tuesday. Unless it gets leaked first.
