Does Obama Want 4 More Years of Obama? White House Tells ABC’s Jon Karl ‘No’

By Chris Ariens

Not long after the White House released a 3-minute video of President Obama endorsing Hillary Clinton for president, the presumptive Republican nominee, Donald Trump took to Twitter, saying Obama just wants another 4 years of Obama, adding “but nobody else does!”

About 5 minutes after that Tweet, the Clinton campaign shot back with this:

In less than an hour, the Clinton campaign’s tweet had been retweeted more than 100,000 times.

Trump’s tweet also came up at the White House press briefing as ABC’s Jon Karl asked Josh Earnest, “Is that what [President Obama] wants, four more years of Obama?”

“No,” Earnest said, adding, “I think there have been a number of occasions over the last several months where you all have pointed out to me, some differences between Secretary Clinton and President Obama. So they do not have the same opinion on every issue. Just to go back to this video that was released today, the president said unequivocally that he does not believe, at least he can’t remember, a candidate that’s been more qualified to hold this office.”
