A TVNewser tipster tells us Joie Chen‘s contract with CBS News has not been renewed. Chen left the network Feb. 29. Kimberly Dozier and Thalia Assuras will be covering weekends in the DC bureau, writes the tipster. Although, Dozier told TVNewser this week, she is anxious to get back to covering the Middle East.
Before CBS, Chen was an anchor and correspondent for CNN.
