Joe Scarborough Named NBC News Senior Political Analyst, ‘Meet the Press’ Contributor

As NBC News gears up for election season and “Meet the Press” starts its Chuck Todd era, viewers will be seeing more of Joe Scarborough.

The “Morning Joe” co-host has been named Senior Political Analyst for NBC News and a regular roundtable contributor for “MTP,” the network announced today. Scarborough will also join the network’s election coverage team and contribute to “Today.” He will continue co-hosting “Morning Joe.”

“Joe has one of the best political minds in the NBC family,” said new “MTP” moderator Chuck Todd. “His love of politics and passion for debate will guarantee the kind of robust conversation that has always been a hallmark of Meet the Press, and I look forward to the reported analysis he’ll bring to the table.”
