This evening, CNBC’s Jim Cramer hosts “Mad Money” from studio 8H — where “Saturday Night Live” originates — at Rockefeller Center in New York.

Cramer, who has the honor of broadcasting from a stage once graced by such legendary performers as Eddie Murphy and Horatio Sanz, celebrates the fifth anniversary of his CNBC program today with the special show in front of a live audience.

“I am so grateful for CNBC and NBC’s support, including the opportunity to do ‘Mad Money’ on the hallowed ground of Studio 8H,” Cramer tells TVNewser. “Jeff Zucker and Mark Hoffman took a chance on ‘Mad Money’ 5 years ago and we are thrilled that we have fulfilled their hopes to the point that they allow us, and our fans, the big stage for our big anniversary.”
