Connecticut-based Hedgeye Risk Management announced that Jeremy Pink, former Senior VP of Business News at CNBC, has joined the firm as a Managing Director. Pink is charged with developing subscription products for retail investors as the company develops a real-time stock alerts product and daily newsletter.

“Hedgeye’s dedicated team of analysts and researchers creates some of the most innovative and original content about financial markets and macroeconomics of anyone in the world,” said Pink. “I am delighted to help bring that original content to retail investors around the globe.”

Pink left CNBC in May after 10 years with the network. He made the move to New Jersey from Singapore in 2009, joining CNBC/U.S. from CNBC Asia.
