Jennifer Lopez, Meghan Trainor Among Today Show Summer Concerts

By Brian Flood

NBC’s Today show is getting ready to pack the plaza — for the 20th summer in a row — for the Toyota summer concert series. The lineup was announced this morning via Snapchat, and it’s all about that bass.

The shows kick off May 22 with Meghan Trainor in her first Rockefeller Plaza performance. Others include Jennifer Lopez, Flo Rida and Alan Jackson.

Pitbull, who has drawn big crowds to the plaza in the past, will take the show on the road performing live from NBC’s corporate cousin Universal Orlando Resort on May 29. It’s Pit Bull’s fifth appearance on Today.
