Jenn Sterger Sitting Down With Good Morning America For Two-Part Exclusive Interview

By Marcus Vanderberg

Jenn Sterger will sit down for the first time since the Brett Favre texting scandal in a two-part interview with George Stephanopoulos on Good Morning America Tuesday and Wednesday.

According to excerpts from ABC News, a New York Jets employee tried to play matchmaker between her and Favre.

“I was approached one day at the beginning of the preseason games, by a man wearing a Jets badge, employee badge, who asked me, ‘How would you feel if Brett Favre asked for your phone number? What would you say?,” Sterger told ABC News. “And I just looked at him, my usual smartass self. And I said, ‘I’d say I like my job an awful lot. And I’ve been told I look remarkably like his wife.’ “

Sterger didn’t give the employee her number but Favre somehow got it anyways.

The New York Post reports that the “GMA” interview came with a job offer, a report that ABC vigorously denies:

This week, Sterger is set to spill her side of the story for the first time — but the interview comes with strings attached.

She has taped a two-part sitdown with “Good Morning America,” set to air Tuesday and Wednesday. In exchange, the network agreed to hook Sterger up with a TV job, sources told The Post.

A spokesman for ABC denied Sterger was offered any job for her story.

While I’m slightly curious as to what Sterger has to say, it appears she’s only doing this interview because the phone calls for job opportunities has dried up.
