James Carville Joins Fox News as a Contributor

JamesCarvilleThe Ragin’ Cajun is bringing his heat to Fox News Channel. James Carville is joining the network as a political analyst.

Carville will appear across various FNC programs offering political commentary on the news of the day.

Bill Shine, EVP of Programming for the network, says Carville’s “successful and storied career in politics over several decades is an enormous asset to FOX News. We are privileged to have him lend his breadth of experience, wit and dynamic perspective on the network.”

Until last January, Carville and his wife, Republican political analyst Mary Matalin, had been CNN contributors for the better part of 20 years. Carville had co-hosted “Crossfire”
in the early 2000s.

Carville hit the national scene as the lead strategist in Bill Clinton’s 1992 presidential campaign. Carville continued to serve as a senior political adviser to Pres. Clinton.
