r-JAKE-TAPPER-large570CNN’s Jake Tapper will interview President Obama for the president’s first interview after his State of the Union address.

As we reported last night, the interview will air Friday, with parts of it playing on “New Day” in the morning and on Tapper’s show “The Lead” at 4pm.

Tapper teased the exclusive this morning.

CNN’s chief Washington correspondent will ask the president about the economy, immigration, jobs, national security, and foreign policy, according to CNN.  Tapper’s Friday interview comes two days before Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly sits down with the president on Super Bowl Sunday at 4:30pmET.

The president’s address last night focused on increasing opportunity for all Americans, with the caveat of him taking action on his own when Congress won’t.
