Iranian TV Correspondent Killed In Syria

A correspondent for Iran’s Press TV was killed while reporting on-air in Syria’s capital city of Damascus. The correspondent, Maya Naser, was shot in the neck by a sniper, while Press TV’s Damascus bureau chief was also wounded by gunfire.

With Naser’s death, 22 journalists have been killed in Syria since the uprising began, making it one of the deadliest countries on earth for reporters trying to do their job.
