Iran Nuclear Deal Ratings: Fox News Tops in Total Viewers, MSNBC First in Demo

News of a multi-national deal requiring Iran to halt its nuclear program kept the cable networks in breaking news mode on Saturday night. For the 10pmET hour when President Obama spoke, Fox News was first in total viewers with 981,000 and MSNBC was first in the A25-54 demographic with 203,000.

Compared to the 10pmET hour last Saturday, Fox News was the only network to be up in both ratings measurements, +12% in total viewers and +32% in the demo. CNN was up +60% in total viewers and down -12% in the demo, and MSNBC was down -26% and -2%, respectively.

For the three hours of primetime, Fox was first in total viewers with 1,222,000 and MSNBC was first in the demo with 224,000. The full scoreboard will be up later this afternoon.
