Inside the Scene of the ’48 Hours’ Crime

By Chris Ariens

With four floors, 50,000 square feet, 400 lamps and no walls (not even for the bathroom), Boracayan was one American couple’s Costa Rican paradise. That was until one of them was shot dead.

And since that’s where all “48 Hours” stories start, correspondent Susan Spencer takes viewers back to the scene of the crime — or was it a suicide? You’ll have to wait until tomorrow night to find out on the season premiere of the long-running CBS News true crime series. But first take a look inside this amazing paradise on a rainforest mountaintop, that you probably won’t see anytime soon on House Hunters International.
