‘Inside Edition’ Investigative Producer Joins ABC

Cindy Galli, who has been a producer at “Inside Edition” since 1999, has joined the ABC News team investigative team led by Brian Ross.

“Cindy brings a proven track record of powerful investigative reports that have made a huge difference in the lives of many people,” Ross, who is ABC’s chief investigative correspondent, said in a statement. “She is a great addition to the ABC News all-star team of investigative producers and reporters.”

The move marks a return to ABC for Galli, who started her journalism career at KGO, the ABC owned-and-operated station in San Francisco.

Cindy Galli Joins Brian Ross and the ABC News Investigative Unit

Cindy Galli, an award-winning long-time producer at “Inside Edition” with a specialty in consumer affairs investigations, has joined the Brian Ross investigative team at ABC News.

Galli has served as an investigative producer at “Inside Edition” since 1999 and was recently recognized with a National Press Club Award for her investigation into the insurance industry. The National Association of Consumer Agency Administrators has also presented Galli with their award for Excellence in Consumer Investigations twice for separate reports.

“Cindy brings a proven track record of powerful investigative reports that have made a huge difference in the lives of many people,” ABC News’ Chief Investigative Correspondent Brian Ross said. “She is a great addition to the ABC News all-star team of investigative producers and reporters.”

For her part, Galli said she’s excited to get to work at ABC.

“The ABC News investigative team is the standard-bearer for in-depth, original reporting that affects change for the greater good,” she said. “It’s an honor to join this talented and dedicated group of journalists.”

Born and raised in California’s Bay Area, Galli got her start in journalism an Associate Producer with ABC News’ Bay Area affiliate, KGO-TV. She received a Bachelor of the Arts degree from the University of California at Berkeley where she graduated with honors.
