Jim Lehrer anchors live coverage with analysis from Mark Shields and David Brooks

Also on Inauguration Day: FRONTLINE to air “Dreams of Obama”; TAVIS SMILEY looks back on Obama’s past visits to the show; and analysis and coverage airs on NIGHTLY BUSINESS REPORT, CHARLIE ROSE and on pbs.org.

Beginning at 11 a.m. ET, Jim Lehrer anchors PBS’ inauguration coverage, which includes political analysis from Mark Shields and David Brooks and historical context from Peniel Joseph, Ellen Fitzpatrick and Richard Brookhiser. PBS plans to include coverage of Barack Obama’s arrival at the White House, excerpts of the church service and Obama’s speech to the nation from the Capitol steps.

Tavis Smiley looks back at Barack Obama’s six appearances on the show, dating back to his days as a little-known Illinois state senator. Also featured: Obama’s appearance on the day after his speech at the 2004 Democratic National Convention.
