Univision and Fusion anchor Jorge Ramos spoke in support of “a group of rebels” during brief remarks at the TIME 100 event Tuesday night. Ramos was on one of 5 covers of the annual issue which honors 100 influential people around the world. Ramos praised a group of Mexican journalists who had been reporting on corruption that rose to the highest levels of the Mexican government. “The journalists who denounced the corruption were fired,” said Ramos.
