The National Enquirer got its hands on what it says are Rupert Murdoch’s divorce papers. The ACTION FOR A DIVORCE document was filed yesterday in New York State Supreme Court. The three-page document reveals that not only was there a pre-nup before the 1999 wedding of Rupert Murdoch and Wendi Deng, but that there were two post-nuptial agreements several years into their marriage, following the births of their daughters.
The document also states “the defendant (Wendi) is advised that she may no longer be covered by the plaintiff’s health insurance plan upon entry of a judgment of divorce and that the defendant may be responsible for her own health care coverage.”
Two weeks from today, Murdoch’s media empire will also be split, with TV assests like Fox News, FOX-TV and the Film studios making up a new company called 21st Century Fox, while newspapers like The Wall Street Journal and the New York Post remaining News Corp. entities.
