After undergoing open heart surgery in June, Fox News and Fox Business anchor Neil Cavuto returned to the anchor chair last week. And in the process he gave his FBN show, Cavuto Coast to Coast, its most-watched week ever.
With a heavy mix of 2016 politics and business news, the FBN midday show saw its ratings rise 28 percent in total viewers (170,000) and improve by 17 percent in the A25-54 demo (21,000) compared to the time he was out for medical leave, May 31-Sept. 5. In addition, Cavuto got his first weekly total viewers win over rival CNBC, beating Fast Money Halftime Report (12p-1p) for the first time ever in total viewers.
