On GMA, Donald Trump Vows Not to Lob Grenades in Fox News Debate

By Mark Joyella

Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump may disappoint some viewers tuning in tomorrow expecting to see a bruising debate. In an interview this morning on ABC’s Good Morning America, Trump told ABC News chief anchor George Stephanopoulos “I don’t want to attack anybody and maybe I’ll be attacked and maybe not,” Trump said by phone. “I’d rather just discuss the issues.”

Trump did suggest, however, that he wouldn’t turn the other cheek if any of the other nine candidates throw a punch. “If I’m attacked I have to, you know, do something back, but I’d like it to be very civil,” he said.
