‘I’m Not Bryant Gumbel, I’m Soledad O’Brien’

By Chris Ariens

Soledad O’Brien stars as herself in the new documentary-style film 7 Days in Hell in which two of the biggest tennis stars, Aaron Williams, played by Andy Samberg and Charles Poole, played by Kit Harrington, meet for the longest and greatest tennis match of all time: a seven-day, five-set marathon.

Chris Evert, Lena Dunham, Jim Lampley, Howie Mandel, John McEnroe, and Serena Williams also make appearances. The film, from Funny or Die and SNL Digital Shorts veteran Jake Szymanski, will be available on HBO NOW and HBO GO Wednesday, and debuts on the main channel Saturday at 10 p.m ET/PT. Here’s the trailer, which includes Soledad O’Brien explaining how she’s not Bryant Gumbel.
