Freddy is ready. If a post on CNN host Mike Rowe’s blog is to be believed, Freddy is deeply unhappy about news Dish Network has pulled CNN and other Turner networks over a contractual dispute:

“If I understand today’s headlines, some sort of mysterious “DISH” has caused CNN to vanish from 17% of American televisions. Consequently, millions of humans – many with Nielsen Boxes, are now unable to watch the highest rated new series on cable news. This is an outrage.”

Freddy, a rescue dog with a loyal following among Rowe’s fans, offers to assist CNN with the dirty job of getting CNN back on the air–and hopefully in time for tonight’s “Somebody’s Gotta Do It”, which, as the dog notes, has been an instant ratings hit for the network. So he’s volunteering to get the Dish dispute done and dusted:

I’ve dealt with snakes. I’ve tangled with rabid raccoons. I’m pretty sure I can handle a stupid dish. Just one phone call to my personal network, and I’ll have every one of these damned things covered in urine by morning. And that’s just for openers.
