In addition to Rachel Maddow’s show, Keith Olbermann’s suspension was mentioned last night on his own show with substitute host Thomas Roberts.

“Last night, MSNBC management became aware of three political contributions that Keith made to three different candidates last week. The contributions are not permitted by NBC News without prior approval. In light of those facts, Keith has been suspended indefinitely. And we know all of you are looking forward to Keith’s return, and so are we.”

As of 11amET today, the Olbermann story has been mentioned four times on CNN and six times on HLN. It was also a story during CNN’s primetime last night on “Parker Spitzer” and “Anderson Cooper 360.” The suspension was reported on Fox News’ “Special Report with Bret Baier” and overnight on “Red Eye.”
