“CBS Evening News” anchor Katie Couric may not have officially announced what she will do when her contract expires June 4, but she has already lined up a couple of new gigs. Couric is working on a feature-length documentary about obesity, according to Deadline Hollywood’s Nellie Andreeva.

She will also serve as MC for the 2011 National Magazine Awards, presented by the American Society of Magazine Editors, according to The Cutline’s Joe Pompeo.

Elsewhere, Couric made a pair of TV appearances today, guesting on CBS’ “The Early Show” and ABC’s “The View.”
